Premium Album – Herman Au Photography

It’s been pretty crazy lately with several engagement shoots, consultation meetings going on in the past 10 days, and on top of all that I acquired a new iMac yesterday and began migrating all my work from my PC to the Mac.  It’s a painfully slow process, but it will be well worth it in the end.  Today the UPS man dropped off another package I’ve been longing for – the 2 sample Albums I ordered from Forbeyon.

   

I cannot be happier with the fine craftsmanship and attentiveness to details it took to create this.  The leather cover is amazingly beautiful, printing and top notch, everything down to the finest details like the rounded corners of each page and the paper and leather materials they use simply is stunning.  The best feature of all is probably the metal cameo on the front cover which really makes it stand out and look very, very classy.

The parent album sample I made is also a 10x10” which I may use as the parent album included in my packages, or a small upgrade from the current 7x7” hardcover copies I include in “The One Package”.  The studio logo stamp and the metallic press print of the names  are very attractive as well… wow, what’s not to love about these albums? I’m totally in Love!

Wedding: Christina & Andrew - April, 2009

I met up with Christina and Andrew back in 2008 when they were really anxiously telling me about their wedding planning at the Marriott at Marina Del Rey. They’re such a sweet couple whom I feel they totally deserve the best. I was really fortunate to have the opportunity to work with them and meeting Vivi who’s extremely kind to us during the entire day.

Christina’s beautiful dress, and her really cute Chinese wedding dress she’s wearing later that night.

Andrew has been really nervous and sweating while he watched Christina’s father walk her down the aisle.

Their wedding ceremony was held on the helipad of the Marriott Hotel. Needless to say it’s an absolutely stunning view.

The very playful bridal party with the very handsome ring bearer and cute flower girl… :)

The maid of honor Maria made a great speech that made Christina cry… leading to a very touching moment.

Wedding is no fun without booze… ;-)

Engagement Session: Carly & Lawrence

I actually did this e-session with Carly and Lawrence several weeks ago, but since Carly was doing a teaser on wedding bee and I didn’t want to ruin it by posting all the pictures before she posted the final blog post, I delayed this post since then. Anyway, they're just such nice to me and natural in front of the camera and easy to work with, not to mention they look absolutely adorable together. Big thanks to Susie Chhuor who did a fantastic job for Carly's makeup, which made my job much easier. ;-)

Time to get back to work… new price lists and new blogs are coming up altogether in June, and I’m really glad that all the hard work seems to be paying off lately. Thanks for all the support folks, and again big thanks to Carly and Lawrence for a memorable e-session. =)
